Summer Camp Cancelled Due to COVID-19

Updated: Jan 4, 2021

Dear Staff, Campers and Families: We are so saddened by recent developments and the need to cancel our summer camp programs. This is the first time in Pine Brook history that this has happened. Although we are disappointed, we know that there is a bigger plan at work! (see below official statement from PBC Board of Directors) We will be contacting families who have already registered their children for 2020 Summer Camp to see if they would like their payment refunded, transferred to 2021 Summer Camp or to be designated as a donation to the ministry. We are continuing to plan and prepare for future programs. We have a busy fall ahead and are looking forward to our yearly football tournament, scrapbook retreat and golf tournament! We are also working on various projects and making improvements around camp to keep it looking beautiful and to have it ready for future events.  Our staff is planning and working through ideas on how to bring our camp family together some time very soon! It will look different, but still provide the connection and community you are used to! We are continually watching the developments in reopening our state and are hopeful as restrictions begin to lift that we can have something planned for later this summer – so keep an eye out for those TBD details!! Also, be on the lookout for the launch of our new website! We hope you will enjoy looking through it and find it helpful with updated information and programs! Even though we can’t be together just yet, you are all in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. We love and care about each and every one of you and are looking forward to when we can gather again! Thank you all for your continued support!

Blessings, Pine Brook Camp Staff “The Pine Brook Executive Board Members met Monday evening and prayerfully assessed the most current information provided by Governor Charlie Baker and his staff regarding the phased re-opening of Massachusetts from Covid-19. At this time, the Board does not feel that it is appropriate for Pine Brook camp to schedule and conduct its traditional summer programs for 2020. We certainly want to see the youth and staff be blessed by summer camp through spirit-led mentoring and activities but do not see this as a suitable option for us this year. Please know we are praying for you, the camp staff and the camper families as we journey through these times together. Blessings, Pine Brook Camp Board of Directors”
