We’ve made it to the last full day of Junior Camp and wow, what a week! Our campers have been learning so many new things about God, nature, and themselves!
This week we have had the pleasure of welcoming Renata Bowers, award-winning speaker and author, to Camp! Through her stories and engagement with the campers, they are seeing what it means to thrive as they learn how to be themselves. Renata has spent our evening services reminding them that they matter, that they belong, and that they each have their own unique story.
We live in a world where it is sometimes unclear to our youth who they are supposed to be. They are exposed to so many ideas and forms of media that try to sway what they know to be true about themselves and the world around them. Stepping back and giving them time to rediscover the joy of being themselves, as God created them, has been such a blessing!
